Scarlett Güémez

Philadelphia Ballet

Scarlett Güémez is originally from Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. She began her studies at the Superior School of Music and Dance of Monterrey where she graduated to later continue her advanced studies at the Vicentina School of Camagüey and at the National School of Arts in Havana, Cuba. 

     Scarlett joined the National Company of Mexico in 2014 and was later promoted to Coryphée. Her stand out roles while with the National Company of Mexico include Laurencia Pas de Deux, Sugar Plum Nutcracker Pas de Deux, Le Corsaire Pas de Deux, Don Quixote Pas de Deux, White Swan Pas de deux, Sleeping Beauty Pas de Deux, Gypsy from Romeo and Juliet, and a leading role in Marco Goecke's “All Long Dem Day”.

     Scarlett is also an international guest teacher. She joined Philadelphia Ballet in August of 2022.
